So you want to be good at blackjack. You had dreams of being one of the greatest card counters or whatever form of advantage player and someday milk the casinos of their money. But then reality sets in. You try learning the strategies and techniques. You spend hours poring over blackjack books from those that dish out strategies for beginners to biographies of the great players to hopefully get even more inspired and really learn. You buy out all the DVDs you see that promise you’ll be a great card counter in so and so days. And you even really do practice the techniques with your buddies at home. But what happened? What I’m saying is that you shouldn’t expect it to be easy. Unless you’re one of the few brilliant people who just get things really fast then learning to play blackjack like a pro usually takes a long time.

In the meantime what I want you to know is that even if you’re a sucky or mediocre player you don’t need to lose money almost every time you play blackjack. By this I don’t mean that you should only play blackjack with your buddies and not place bets or to go online and just keep on playing in free games. If the math goes over your head you need not worry the software will do all calculations for you and will show you which play will benefit you the most. Should you hit, stand, split, double, or fold? Of course you can’t use Blackjack Software in traditional casinos. You can however use them while playing in online casinos and win money from them. After enough practice and help from blackjack softwares you just might find that your analysis skills have improved enough to let you play without them and start winning more than losing. That’s when you can start playing in any casino you might like whether land-based or online.
