Human Poker Players versus the Poker Bots
Nope this is not a movie that is in the same mold of the Transformers. It is a battle of wits to which people have to deal with. Poker bots are not actual players but are rather programmed to provide the probable odds and tips needed by players who have obviously grown addicted to the game. While they are really banned in online poker rooms, no one can really be sure how to distinguish players who are using them and good poker players to begin with.
In the same way that technology has forever tried to find ways through wise programming antics has the game of poker taken another new dimension. The reliance on these bots to take away the load of having to think of all possibilities on hand has been an angel in disguise for most players who have been addicted towards playing the game.
Strategies are born and killed by poker bots. This is a fact indeed considering that the chances of a player winning over a computerized poker calculator may be playing on thin ice as even before a player thinks, the poker bot will surely already have something up his sleeve to counter the offensive. Add to the fact that players will not gamble on losing money so easily. Many would resort to other means and this includes using poker bots in the process.
On the upside of things, poker bots can be considered a useful tool to make poker players get updated and obtain sharpened strategies in the process. Using it as an ally, people can try to play against them and see what odds they are up against. Although it is quite different when people would play against good poker players, it trims down the necessity to panic since all probabilities are laid out every time a person would try to match wits with a computer program.
But mind you, a good poker bot is not that easy to find. All of them are programmed differently from one another and the possibility of getting lousy and faulty programs that cannot cover the whole aspects of the game is a possibility. It would be best for people to make preliminary searches and queries as well. Poker bots do have that distinction that they are hard to beat. But then again, it would depend on how they were made and their manner of programming as well.
