Signs of a Lousy Poker Bot
In the previous post I gave some tips on how to choose a good poker bot. The number one consideration I gave was the AI (artificial intelligence) used by the bot. As I said you need to take the bot for a “test drive” to see just how intelligent it is. Preferrably the bot should be you again and again and again. After all if you can beat the bot then you might as well play yourself, have fun, and save the money that would have gone to buying the bot. However, some bots are not even worth taking for a “test drive”. Some poker bots being sold online are sooooo obviously and glaringly scams that all you really need to do is pay a little attention to avoid purchasing a lousy poker bot. Listed below are some obvious signs of a lousy poker bot. These are all just from my observation. If you have anything to add, feel free to do so.
A fugly website. A very non-professional ugly website is like a big fat red sign that says, “All I’m trying to do is milk money from stupid people like you.” Please please please. Have at least some sense and choose a bot that is being sold from a website that has a semblance of professionality. If the makers of the poker bot cannot even make a pretty website how much more can they come up with a poker bot of superior AI?
Exaggerated/Unbelievable Claims. Even the best of the best poker bots can be beaten and you can be sure that the best of the best is currently not some commercial but something brewing in some university’s think lab. Sites that advertise their poker bots to have perfect wins or unbelievably high win statistically are flat out lying. If they lie about the statistics what else could they be not telling you?
No Trial Periods or Screenshots. Like I said in my previous post a software maker that knows that its software works won’t be afraid to let users try it out and see the results for themselves. After all if the software works really well majority of the trial users WILL buy or subscribe to the complete version. However, scams will never take this risk since they will never get any real customers to pay a bigger price since their product sucks.
Low Low Prices and Overblown “Packages”. Scams and lousy poker bot makers know they can’t get good prices for their products so they usually aim to entice people by selling their products for unbelievably low prices. Since most people are suckers for sales people tend to try out the product anyway since it’s really cheap. Even if it is cheap you will still be wasting your money so don’t even bother paying out the few dollars. As for the packages and slashed prices you can bet the original price is overblown anyway and the price you get is still more than it is worth.
